My reffing debut for Dinosaurs Loved Sex Vs Sparkle Motion.

Game 1:
1-4
The first game got off to a slow start, Pip and James were passing well for SM and had a strong defence. 2 goals each from Pip and James. Aidan scored DLS's only goal.
DLS needed to start talking to each other and passing more.

Game 2:
2-3
This was a faster game that saw DLS 2-1 up after an own goal from James. Both teams had some great chances, but SM were so fast on the counter attack and managed to claw it back with 2 more goals. Pip scored a hatrick and Aidan scored 1 for DLS.

Game 3:
5-4
All of a sudden both teams really wanted it. This game was much more fast paced, with Aidan doing all the talking for DLS and SM getting some nice fluid passes by remaining cool under pressure. Phil had some great long shots and at 14 mins 28, Pip scored a blinder to bring the scores to 4-4. SUDDEN DEATH!
Both teams upped the pace and Ollie eventually scored the winner at 18 mins 2 secs.
Goals:
Pip 3 & James 1 for SM
Aidan 2, Phil 2 and Ollie 1 for DLS.

There definitely didn't need to be a ref, all clean games and great competitors.

Thanks for reffing Tom, and to the big cheer when we scored our only goal.

We were powerless against the mighty RA, hardly had any chances to shoot and when we did we were overcome with panic and fooked it up every time.

Hops had some awesome saves but the apples were just too good. It was fun anyway and made us work hard, we're glad that fixture is out of the way though!

Yesterday was the best, so many brilliant teams, individuals and even refs. I can't believe how professional lockett is, he wasn't even boozing! And after last year's tourney in the rain the weather was lovely too.

Luckily I was totally wasted because usually after these kind of events I can't get to sleep cos I'm thinking about Polo

Los Coños had some terrible shots on goal and paid for it in the last game. Wicked long shot from Pip got them 1-0 up in the final game and caught us by surprise, it was 4-1 until the last few mins I think.

Scores are correct I think and hope your thumbnail gets better James.

I just finished my course at Kingston this August. Although I probably wouldn't have wanted to commute there on my Polo bike from E3 anyway!
