@seansies was this the massive success I envisaged? I (and supportive neighbours) have discovered that Ealing Council now manage new requests in our neck of the woods.

Served us very well for many summers, but the body has developed a bit of hole, will need repair / replacement. Gas is empty.

Estates (from our shortlist anyway) apparently larger than SUVs (S), so if external dimensions have any baring on internal size, we're leaning towards a Passat or Octavia.

That’s good to know anyway, it’s not just me struggling.

Internal car dimensions, do they exist? Do manufacturers / retailers publish them? We’re in the market for a new family motor and want maximum indoor space. But comparison is tricky when the best I can find is boot size. Cheers.

Fellow decker noob here. If decking on top of an uneven patio, does the decking frame just sit on the existing paving stones, or should I be using the walls to create a floating frame, by fitting something like joist brackets? Can’t help but think wood on the floor will just rot.

It is great, and gutting to have to dispose of, but the kids real estate needs trump my pottering space. Apparently. A couple of people have come to have a look, and the largest panel (360 x 200) is proving a challenge to transport. So if anybody is interested, bring a (LWB) van or be prepared to chop.

Robust garden shed. Possibly quite old and a bit leaky but of fine construction. 120 x 200 x 360

Will require disassembly before removal. Any questions, please ask.
