depending on the inner diameter of the shell as it is, you may have enough material to cut threads straight in... though may not be the best idea.
take it into bikefix and speak to Matt Weeks.. He is the hot work guy if it needs it. Looking at about £40 to £50 to shrink the b/b shell and cut some new threads in.
Most hot work is done on Thursdays, so just bring the frame in a few days before that.otherwise most unthreaded b/bs require the shell to be faced at 45deg, i cant tell from the photo if that has been done.

a few years ago my friend was in the back of a car which span off the road, a fence post went through the back windo, pierced his neck and pulled him out back through the window.
when the car came to a stand still, my friend Liam was missing. going through the seat into where he was sitting was a cast iron spike.
Had he been in the car when it pierced, he would have been killed instantly. He wasn't wearing a seatbelt, luckily.
They found him 30m down the road, standing upright and walking around with a 0.6m long bit of wooden fence going through his neck.
He can't remember anything from it, but apparently was fighting off the paramedics. To remove the fence post they had to cut the muscle on the back of his neck and pull the whole thing out that way. It has just missed all the vital bits and pieces by mm's.
He healed up well and kept on racing motocross and riding bmx after. For about a year later he was still picking bits of wood out of his neck and head as it slowly staryed coming out.

Ok so my week so far has consisted of me lying in front of the tv, making frequent dashes to the toilet basin.
Started off wrenching on sunday morning, figured it might have just been an overdue ha(llowee)ngover. Tried to eat a bit of breakfast but just ended up throwing it all up.
monday and tuesday consited of me throwing up and down, pretty violently.
This was all followed by extreme body ache and cramps.
Having never actually sorted out a london GP since i moved up here, i figured i would go to the hospital walk in. Sitting there for 2 hours today i was then told that unless i felt my condition was urgent then they probably wouldn't be able to see me today.
I then get home to find that two of my housemates are back from work early, both puking up in seperate bathrooms.
I figured it may have been some dodgy vegetables on a pizza at the weekend, now i think it may be something more.
i now have fears of consuming a mutant strain of brocolli that will end up with myself heading into the wild with a darkplace twist.
