I ordered a steamroller frameset from ID yesterday and it arrived today...

So i was a complete muppet and somehow got my foot caught in the front wheel while moving.
Ended up somersaulting over the handlebars and landing in a pile a few feet past the bike. Could have easily ended up nastier than it did, was lucky to make it out of there with just a brusied heel and damaged pride.

At first i thought the damage to the LeJeune was just a buckled wheel and a set of bent forks, which are easily replaced and fixable. But upon close inspection i have managed to ovalise my headtube and bend the down tube upwards. Pretty nicely done if i say so myself. No cracks, just a clean bend while keeping the top tube true.

Does anyone have a 57 steel track frame for sale?
Its not urgent as i have a conversion i can ride in the mean time.

forgot about the cog & lockring deal, mines on super tight never had a problem.

To get it tight, **stick a lock through your chainring and rotate the wheel backwards **with your hands. Then get the lockring tight, by using a good quality lockring tool (you may have to go to the shop)

depending how many you need, im ssure she could give it ago

you also have to factor in the torque from the disc brake. As well as the direction of the leading and trailing spokes.

I personally wouldnt run a 2x wheel on a disc wheel. Front or Back

puts the bike up about 6inches from the ground.
depending how large the bag is, may pop out the top

They are ok for quick fixes and for tuning gears etc

we have the blue pipe, enough for about 6 more i think,
no more poles left though
