diggin up an old thread, BUT the Po-po were stopping all cyclists going through this intersection this morning and handing out bike safety leaflets and talking about the dangers of undertaking HGV's. WOW!!
Yup, I got told to get a front brake this morning, agreed and pushed off quick in case he got tickety. The commuters on Kentish town road in the mornings are gung-ho, I steer well clear of them at all times.

I'm a size 10/11 and was using medium cages, just got a large pair and the fit feels much better.
Check those christophe straps occasionally, I was skid stopping behind a taxi last night and the strap on my leading foot (the one that pulls up) snapped. I didn't fall but it could have been a lot worse. I've had them for 8 months though. -

Hi all, serial lurker here, I've got an old Falcon that needs a home.
62cm BB to TT. You can have everything thats in this photo.
The problem is the stem seems to be stuck.
The paints scratched to hell and theres a lovely light coating of rust in a lot of places.
I've left the old wheels on in case it needed to be wheeled home or something, however they're totally shot. The handlebars are a little rusty in places, the 52t chainring is a bit wonky, and some of the bearings in the BB look like half moons :)Anyone fancy swapping a RH black Dirty Harry lever or an ok looking black 27.2 seatpost for a deathtrap? :) I'm in Hackney Central.
Just spotted a bromptenger throwing a panicked look over his shoulder while speeding up the bus lane on Theobalds, 100 meters later 2 police officers chasing on foot.
