a very nice slingerland he's using in that vid too. On the topic of vintage kits, about 9 years ago, my friend picked up a near mint resonator with it's matching stool, rogers hardware, rogers dynasonic snare, paiste formula 602 ride and paiste sound edge hats, zildjian a crashes all complete with le blonde case for just over 300 quid!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sounds an amazing set up you have! Before I became skint some time ago, I had 14" zildjian a hats from the 60s, a late 60- early 70s ziljian a 20" ride, zildjian 19" k custom hybrid crash (fucking amazing crash) and a 19 " paiste 2002 power crash. I had what I believed to be a premier elite, possiblöey late 60s. The badges were all different though. I still have some where a 60s premier royal ace, which is fucked (parallel action strainer is dodgy) and I once owned a keystone badge ludwig acrolite snare, 65 i think it was dated. Way too dry.
Currently building up my kit again. My 50s zildjian a ride, 22", is the best ride i've ever owned and possibly the loudest!!! -

yea, but haven't been in a band for a while. i used to have this old kit, some australian brand, looked like shit but sounded beautiful. 15" new beat high hats, 21" K ride, and 17" and 19" crashes, one was a z custom, the other a K dark crash or something. best snare i had was this 8" maple thing.
