Looks good, i think you should have the period GA levers and cloth tape. i have cloth tape on two of my bikes one because its from the 70's and the other because i wanted it to be retro.

The set i got was just for gears front and rear, but then you need brake cables too..

i found some Campagnolo cables at SJS cycles website and you get the outer cable and ferrules too.

Yes thats them, you'll ned campagnolo gear cables though as the shimano ones don't fit the end is too big diameter to fit in the gear lever.

been riding fixed on the road since i was 16 rode a 49x14 then.. i converted my old BSA and added a 14 cog because thats what the nearest bike shop had, then took the rest of the stuff off the bike. Then hamerited it black without taking of masking anything off.

Pphhheeewww..... So after a few days of not really knowing what was going on with the wheels the fella finally got in touch with me today, after having had 'Internet problems'!

So here's what's coming:
36h Araya 16B Tita Ace Gold (were NJS approved in 1993 - may or may not be NJS Stamped - if not then pre 1993)
36h Sansin Professional High Flange Hubs
Spokes unknown, but will be dismantling the set up to clean, polish and inspect and relacing with Hoshi or something similar..

One thing I would like some help with:
The Sansin hubs have been fitted with axles/spindles for quick release skewers, and I want to replace these with solid track axles and nuts.

Could I use, for example, a set of Dura Ace track spindles/axles as a replacement, as im finding it impossible to source Sansin ones?

What is the general opinion of Sansin Hubs? I don't think I've seen a single set floating around the forum? Everyone seems to go for Dura Ace?

I think my heart is still set on SunShine Professional bit I'm hoping the Sansin's will be in a good enough condition to be just fine!

I know shimano and suntour axle threads are the same.. you could email NJS export and ask about sansin threads.and perhaps get some axles from there.

That looks like Gosling track in Welwyn.. i'll be riding my NJS frame there in april, snow permitting.

i think the spoke length is 305mm.. with a 4 cross spoke pattern.
