70% of the first batch of 129 orders have been packed.
The ones that haven't are the ones for which I have cotton mediums but not bamboo.
I still have to weigh some, buy postage, stick postage on and then have Royal Mail collect them all.
So the ones I've packed will be dispatched towards the end of this week hopefully.
The ones I haven't packed I'll email asking what you want to do.
I'll send emails to everyone who has paid so far, saying either that your order is shipped, or giving you the choice of cotton or waiting for bamboo. These emails will be sent towards the end of this week/beginning of next week once the packed ones have actually been dispatched.
Cool, eh?
My whole front room is now full of padded envelopes and boxes. Cannot move.
On the plus side... the paypal money hit my bank account and the massive pre-payment I slapped on the credit card is now paid off. I've got some profit already, but don't know how much as I've yet to purchase all of the postage and do the maths on what has all been completed.
You should be able to click the pay link at the top of the page if you ordered any shirts... if the page shows an order to purchase you have yet to pay... if the page shows that there is nothing to pay then either you didn't place an order or you're one of the 129 in the first batch and can expect an email at the end of this week.
You could have saved all the hassle by doing this through spreadshirt. They would've handled the orders, sizes, postage and designs. Users could of asked for any colour, design and size through a web interface and had them delivered in 3 days. And you could have sat back and watched the cash roll in.
No complaints at all - and thats for getting the sorted, just maybe a thought for next time. I can't wait for mine to come through!

I'm in Brixton and at a bit of a loose end these days (off work to write a dissertation) and should have most of the tools you need (headset press, BB tools, myriad of other bike specific stuff). I'd gladly help you out for a Guinness or two. PM me if you're interested.
Hi - thanks for the offer. I'm gonna go with the blokes in Camberwell - I remember them now. My cones came loose on my way to work and they fixed them for free. Evans wanted 45 quid!!!!
Thanks again anyway

Hey jonhings,
Was that you I saw at the NX crossing yesterday evening, with the Cinelli frame-sized box...? I kind of gave you a knowing grin and acknowledged your glee - it probably came across coy and sheepish because I was only wearing bib 3/4's and a tight black jersey. shameless.
Good work, lovely bike of character.
Haha yeah it was me! Sorry mate didn't see notice anything or anyone else. I was a mission to get back. I saw some people on the train reading the label on the box "Cinelli SuperCorsa Pista Lemon Yellow 57" and then looking at me... I always wonder if there are some hidden fellow enthusiasts around! Next time say hello. I live in forest hill.

Stunning, and I like the sound of the build parts too.
Would you call the decision in the shop a good example of Thin-Slicing then?
Haha - TOTALLY! I knew in an instant this was what I really wanted. I'd never seen one before but it struck me like a bolt of lightening.

Cinelli super corsa pista. I always wanted the Lemon Cinelli Olympic with the chrome rear end. 2 years ago I made an order for a condor classico, going through the sizing, spec and completing the order with a bloke at Condor. Then when I went upstairs to pay and sign for it, some dude rolled in on a lemon Cinelli. Told condor I'd changed my mind, they were well pissed.
The new Pista has all the chrome, but the yellow is like 'curry' so they did me a special order in lemon. Total nightmare getting it done but now its here... and there's plenty of summer left!

Thanks for the messages. I can't believe it's actually mine! Its from some bike museum in Switzerland, and suddenly appeared on Ebay late last night, and I just jumped on it before i even knew if I had enough money (I don't but I'm going to work it out).
Comes with the all the campy stuff you see. Roll on the summer!

Hi all. Another stupid question from me I'm afraid, but what are clincher rims? Is that just a name for normal mavic open-pro type rims? Are all rims that take normal inner-tubes and tyres called 'clinchers' ? I'm just looking for all some black rims, and - thanks to guys on here - got pointed to various places that sell 'clinchers'. I just don't want to spend my hard-earned on something that either isn't for road use/commuting or won't fit my hubs (36 hole camp records).
Thanks for your knowledge as always.
