Mikey knows. I have an (inherited) 3 speed. Reattaching the hub gear cable took me far too long to be normal.
Or maybe that is me
2 speed works brilliantly - lower gear for traffic lights, hills (have
climbed Swains albeit slowly with stock gears and pedals) and pootling- higher gear for everything else. whizz off the lights in low gear - spin out - flick to high ratio - accelerate to cruising velocity

Alex Dowsett won one.

Dare I believe it, are the police daring to care about vulnerable road users.
Last night a car driver nearly 'pinched' another rider and then me; as I later passed her window was open and to my shame I just shouted "Put your phone down" as soon as I saw her rather than asking why she was so close.
The middle aged female driver was on the phone, the phone was dropped and I think she wee'd herself a little.
Having got her composure she gave me the 'loco' hand gesture, but she did then stay 30 yards behind me.
Sometimes, there is an advantage to have a deep voice and being of a darker hue. Sometimes
