Info/Item/Photo Gathering Alleycat - you will need Helmet, Lights, Lock, Digital Photo Device, some keen legs and a little luck! There will be a screening of the film in the shop if you don't wish to go out and have fun on your bike....Then a Second screening after the Alleycat. Followed by a prize giving....then who knows! Pub? Another screening just because? More riding? Come along, have fun, meet new people. Thats the idea! Oh and watch an awesome film!! FREE ENTRY!

and if your talking to track riders you will find that its all about gear inches, always has been always will. :P

Yup, but with the all hills and shitty roads its way easier to ride gears or single speed. Or better still get on a mountain bike and get hella out the city and into the hills and woods!

In a few words, Tubs are seriously outdated bicycle technology. As for using them around town, it will be an 'experience', an expensive one! Lewes road is possibly one of the most glass and flint strewn roads in town, and quite easily chews up decent puncture resistant tyres. 'die hard' traditionalist roadies will always battle the argument towards them, but their advantages are less and less now that clincher rims are little difference in weight, also the tpi available on top road clinchers with the added technology in rubber and puncture resistance is at an equal, other than the bonus of being able to fix your puncture on the go!

it normally dries out pretty well, the only dodgy bit is coming upto and going around the second corner from the start line. As the trees block light getting through to the tarmac.

well, tried to have a go today. After a few warm up laps, sitting still having some water at the side, my tyre blew out, then it shat it down....well I did have a little laugh to myself at least. May try and put in a time tomorrow morning, but it normally gets busy at the weekend..
