Looking for a genuine Gillott for a restoration project so think its best I list my requirements
- Gillott frame and forks
- Size 21 or 22 inch
- Condition - anything considered as long as its not a rustbucket
- Age - ideally 1963 but early 60's will work
- Frame style - fastback seat stays
Let me know what you have. I have good currency waiting for something worthwhile
Best PM rather than post comments but will appreciate any/all comments

I have this classic A S Gillott. Beautiful and very rare combination of lugs Would meet your budget. Also have most of the parts having stripped it down
Not sure of shipping cost to Finland but I can certainly do that for you if we get serious
Look forward to your response

wow if it was 2cm larger in both directions i'd be buying that off you
i'm keeping an eye out for a SuperApologies for hijacking this thread.
Bike was bought by me with intention to strip for parts. That is unlikely to happen but if you or anyone is thinking of getting one or wants groupset they can always PM me for when this becomes available.
It is currently on loan to Workshop Manager of LMNH and after he has ridden it in l'Eroica in about 2 weeks it becomes very surplus to my needs

Its an AA Special I bought from RIH and heres the link to the original posting. I intend to strip the components but at present the bike is on loan to Sam at LMNH for l'Eroica so not available until mid-October

The above might be a link to an image but, in any case, you can get link from the posting. I am so lazy that I have ridden the bike once and taken no photos myself!!KenP

I have a pretty much complete (missing a front mech) C-record groupset date approx 1978 awhich comes complete with the iconic Delta brakeset. If that is too rich for your pocket there is also a 198? C-Record set complete (missing rear mech and headset) with wheels at about £550. If you are interested PM for further details
Have various wheels that I have been too lazy to catalogue including a Mexico tubular wheelset (1990's).

Oh dear, time to buy full Super Record
Ben - I've beaten you to Super Record. Have pretty much complete Super Record group on a Gazelle bought for this after deciding C-Record was too modern. That bike is on loan at present to Sam (Workshop Maanager, LMNH) as he is using it for l'Eroica.
I could end up with 2 C-Record and 1 Dura-Ace groupsets suirplus to requirements. Big dilemna, sell groupsets or buy more frames so I can use them!!!

Almost my last comment on this thread. Here are links to groupset options.

Now bringing you up to date here is the frame newly painted and stickered up. What do you think so far?
Am still pondering what to do components wise so will get images of drilled Dura-Ace parts and C-Record to see what you highly intelligent and discerning folks think I should do for the drivetrain

So after trailing round Walthamstow and various bits of London I got Colnago_Costa to do some work for me as Colnagos have chromed parts and the man is also a graphics designer (or some such) so he made up a new set of decals.
These images are of frame after chroming and you can still see the old paint scheme

Am never sure how people view another persons bike but here goes with mine.
I bought the frame from Uber-Gruber in April and here is a link to what it was like then. I expected it would be a project but it has been much more than that as so far I have bought a C-Record groupset, complete with Delta brakes. Subsequently I bought a Concorde for the groupset as I though C-Record was a bit too modern and have now lent that bike to Sam at LMNH so he can do l'Eroica on it. After that I bought some Dura-Ace parts which is the way I am likely to go.
Pictures here are for the frame as purchased and then my mocking it up to see what it was going to be like.
The only thing I know is that this is not going to become a fixed.
All comments gratefully received and more images showing progress to date will be posted very shortly

I'll start with the bad bit first. Read the title and it says you want a hub but then you equally clearly state you/your mate wants a wheel which I assume is the requirement? Now we have got over that I can supply both but would prefer to sell a wheelset or a pair of hubs rather than be left with just the front.
PM if you are interested in taking the wheelset and I will get images to you

Have this http://imageshack.us/g/213/001gillottframe.jpg/ PM if interested. 55cm square, lugged steel frame and forks but most of the rest of the bike is available as well
