Having spent the past god-knows-how-long looking for nice 40h rims, I would seriously advise getting a 36h hub rather than a 40h just to broaden your options... unless you have some great ideas where to get 40h rims from, in which case let me know, please! (sorry hutch, not trying to ruin your sale but I still haven't been able to build up the airlite I bought a couple of months ago for this reason!)

Have emailed campyoldy, to no response as yet... he lists two (the Nisi and the Saturae) but he hasn't gotten back to me so I don't know if they are still in stock or what. I'm hoping desperately that someone has a mavic g40 or similar lying about that would match the front I have....
but the bump also applies to some of the other stuff, I really though a few more people would have single speed freewheels and shitty stems lying about gathering dust?!

Anyone got the dimensions for Dia Compe Gran Compe front hubs? None of the online databases I have found cover the front, for some reason! I guess the flange dimensions are the same as the rear, but need a distance from centre to flange to punch my numbers into Spocalc so I can put my spoke order into cyclebasket. Cheers...

As above, really. I'm frantically building about 3 friends bikes at the moment and need budget parts to finish the jobs off!
For my friends and their budget bikes -
- I really need a freewheel or two. Ideally two
- I need rear hubs to attach said freewheels to! Don't have to be flip flop or anything, just basic rear road hubs that can take a screw on freewheel
- cheap as chips quill stems - 25.4 clamp please
- if anyone has any really cheap, square taper cranks, that would be great too.
For me -
- 40h clincher rims!!!
Cheers in advance! Will consider trade for stuff that is left over in my two for sale threads - also I have a mountain more bike crap lying around, so anything you may need just ask...

Ah Gitane, nice to see her again. She is such a bike of a bike, if you see what I mean...
