Hey can anyone in Hackney recommend an Off License with a good / better beer selection than the usual: Heineken, Red-Strip, Grolsch, San Miguel, Becks, Stella, etc.. fare...
There just doesn't seem to be a decent selection anywhere in hackney - and there are no Odd-Bins or Threshers etc.. ie dedicated booze shops.

reason is a bit weird, (or was in the early versions) and is really focussed on the 'Techno/house/dance music' crowd (loopy, fake analogue gear chained together).
Logic, Cubase, Nuendo, Protools, are all more about recording/producing 'songs' and all have pretty much the same functionality and possibilities.
if you area on a mac just download Logic Express and try it out. - you coudl use it as a simple 4track if you wanted to and need not go into any of the other shit.

even in the realm of Skateboarding Videos MASh was a bit dull - but the cause seems to be that there really isn't a lot of interesting stuff you can do on a bike.
- watch me Skid
- watch me skid with my foot through there
- watch me skid with one hand
- watch me skid while lighting a cigarette (?)_
- watch me skid and.....
and
- ride fast around streets. wow..

at least with Skateboarding there is a little more range. - flips, slides, airs, stairs, etc...

big mummy smeear
flickwg what you trying to do, i thought garage band was not that bad
i want to record live stuff, (low quality is fine)
and i want to cut and paste and twist lovely electronic pips and whistles
folktronic anyone!but i guess i want something that i wont outgrow to quickly,
thats what i dont like about most apple 'i' stuff
If you are focussed on Recording Live instruments then really Pro-Tools is the way to go as thats what its designed for. Recording. unfortunatly Pro Tools free doens' texist anymore I think. (which was an 8 track version of it that didn't require fancy hardware.)
Logic was originally a Midi Sequencer and the functionality has developed from there. but has well developed Digital Audio flexibility and room to grow... i
- same as Cubase, which is what i use on PC (used to exist for Mac, still does probably?)
Ableton Live is designed for DJs and for Loopheads. its interface doesn't really work as a 'Session recording' tool I reckon. its suited to writing 'dance music' and loopy sample based music.
Fruityloops is a mess in my opinion - it started as a basic loop sequencer, whic was good for what it was, - a windows native 'Tracker' with a pretty interface... and then they just started adding more and more junk till it became just unusuble. and would be horrible to use if you are recording real world instruments.
well thats my opinion.

Yeah I found that list myself. - but do they have a verified range of beers?
A lot of the places on that list seem to be just the typical little corner shop offy that has the same 6=7 beers as everywhere else.
I think i'll try a few on mare st on the way home but I knwo i'll be disapointed.
