A bike with a purpose.

Hippy I am honoured. Asumming that you are talking about my bike.
I am getting old and I was fed up with following trends and I wanted a bike that I would actually ride. And the Surly is getting ridden a lot.
My mate is rocking a Carradice saddle bag and the old git in me is crying out to get one too. My 30th is only a month away so maybe that is the time to get one.

Not really a current project more a finished project now.

As I have moved out in to the sticks I needed a bike capable of a bit of everything. So its a Surly Crosscheck that I am using as my adventure bike as I get to know the area. I also have a set of Cyclo-Cross tyres so when I get to Thetford forrest I can go for a thrash off road (Pictured sporting a set Vittoria Randonnuers, Switch between them and Conti Twisters). Might be doing some touring later in the year on it as well. Its not the lightest bike, but suits my current riding on the trafficless roads of Norfolk.

The title says it all really. I have a set of White and black Rubino Pros 700x23.
They have done about 50 miles and are no longer that beautiful white but more a white and brown splattered (will get them as white as I can before I post them). Selling them as I bought some wider tyres for the country roads out in Norfolk.
