The only problem with the bike I have is that I'm not entirely sure of it's worth. I know that it's all nice kit and is made from good stuff, but I've never sold/bought anything like this before so don't know of current prices etc.

How much are you looking to spend and would you consider a whole bike? I've got a steel road frame which is 53.5cm tt, 48 st and I'm pretty sure it's 531, it's very light. I think it was build somewhere in the midlands and there's no badging or stickers. It's currently built up like a TT bike, which is how I got it from a friend. Wheels are tubular but on really nice Campag hubs. It is fully built up at the moment but would possibly consider splitting for the right money.

I'm looking to shift the components from the far-too-big Peugeot frame that I've been using. So, frame only. I'd only have £150 for a whole bike in any case.

Looking for a steel road frame, 50-53cm, that would accept a threaded fork and 7-speed rear wheel (120-130 spacing would be fine) and take full mudguards.

Not after an expensive high end frame, just something for my workhorse geared bike.

The front wheel on my Surly Steamroller has started clicking and dragging. Pretty sure the bearings needed re-greasing, so I took the wheel off and cone cups only to find a cartridge with bearings. Mmm.

These are the wheels with Surly hubs and Alex rims bought with the bike complete. Is this cartridge removable and replaceable?

If so, anyone know how a I get the cartridge off and what part I get to replace it?

Just got me a pair of Santini bib shorts for £45. These ones have the Top pad. Not sure what that means but I'll report back once I've taken them for a ride.

....and good socks. No point in buying bling bling ballet shoes and wearing them with thick toweling socks.
