I have given it the briefest of goes before, wasn't a fan. Who knows I may pick it up again later in the year, hence the flip flop.

Hello, long time listener, first time caller here. Great site and stuff, been invaluable for info and advice.

Quick question..I have a track frame that I am running single speed (no intention to run fixed). At present I have a flip flop hub on the rear, but it has died (dismantled the hub last night, replaced cones and barings but still feels like wading through mud).

I want to buy a new rear wheel but can't seem to find ready built flip flops or free wheel wheels. Am I being dumb or can you buy a rear track wheel and attach a free wheel, or is it quite difficult to buy these out side full builds such as the langster etc?

Any help gratefully received.

I jumped a light on Holborn, got pulled by a stunning police woman who offered me a £30 fine or a "class in road safety". I took the class, which was at a city police station and was chocka with couriers. The "lesson" was a sham, with some cycling twat telling us to ride in teh middle of the road and showing us a video of him riding (appallingly).

Also at the same session was two bloke who had jumped lights in cars, one of whom had jumped three red lights!

For what its worth jumping lights is illegal, I got caught and said fair cop..

Rome is the most cobbled city i have ever been to. I was out there this summer and saw only a few bikes. Looked everywhere for shops too. Depends where you are living/working though.

I had this problem on a rear brake last night. I drill it out pretty easily, but then found out I needed a long stem brake instead.

Willing to trade.....
