my current (old style timbuk2) bag has a pocket bit hanging down on the inside. it's attached, which is kinda nice, but now that it's old it's been getting in the way and has got ripped. plus i used to lose things behind it occasionally. so if you're going to do it, do fix it top and bottom. it has two big pockets and one small one, plus 2 pen slots. i find that i've used all of them equally, and would be happy with more pockets rather than less.

the one thing i really like about the current design you have, tho, is the velcro bit and the fact that a computer bag can be added in, and then the pockets stuck back on again! so, as long as there's a similar functionality (ability for laptop bag and pockets) i'm sure whatever you do will be good!

yeah, seems like it might be a bit late to change it. however, the sheldon ride is scheduled to start at 1.30pm at hyde park corner, by which time the torch should be at the south bank (no 6 on the torch route map) and heading north/east from there. i'd guess that most of central london will be open for most of the day, and the two events needn't cross each other.

i'll most likely be there possibly with a few others, too. one comment about the flier tho - can you fix the dates, please? this ride is in the UK and a some people may be confused by the north american version of the dates... ie, it should be 14/7/1944 - 3/2/2008

the +1 was flickwg. i don't know that i'll be repeating the ride, we'll see how it goes. i do like BMMF's advice recently that the only way to alleviate the curse was to leave at 14:50 ... talking of which, did i see 50x14 is on the list somewhere? if so, great that you're still riding, i imagine you might have some brakes next time, eh?

do they do discounts on multiple frames? or, perhaps, only if they're the same colour?? reason i'm asking is i and a friend have 3-4 frames we may do next week, so if others are also wanting to get frames done, perhaps we could get a group discount.

ditto. too much other stuff to do, i think i'm lucky i'm able to go.

other bit of advice is to try and park on highly visible pedestrianised walkway, preferably under cameras too. that way, they can't drive a van alongside, cut the bike free and chuck it in the back.
