Ive set up Charlottes bike fixed with the wheels off my raleigh but i dont trust the old brake on it. If its cool let me know when i can pop over.

sorry i know its not fixed related but ive got a bike sitting here with no back wheel so thought maybe someone would have something kicking about as i've noticed that some people ride other bikes too. Not looking for something too flashy and relatively cheap.

you can get bmx freewheels down to about 13teeth.
ive got one sitting here made by khe i think odessey make them too.

i assume by drop you mean the distance between the bolt hole and rim? (this is going to be a stupid question isnt it)

Forgot to mention that im running a 700 wheel in a frame that originally had 27" wheels in it. So i guess it would need to be long reaching?

Does anyone have a rear brake kicking about that they dont want and would be willing to sell me for cheap?

i think i measured the bcd correctly last night at about 52mm that might be slightly out give or take a mm

Some how i've managed to crack through my chain ring today while riding right through between the teeth. I think the cranks i have on my bike are some old strong light ones. In which case as i understand its not going to be easy to find a replaement. Which is not ideal.

Does anyone know where i could either get a replacement that wont cost the earth or alternativley does anyone have a cheap set of cranks going?

ok so you think this brake ive been given is a rear one? It makes sense that it could be a rear brake as you wouldnt need such a long bolt to attach it.

So if i try and buy a front one asap then fingers crossed it sould fit fine. I'll measure it up before buying it. Cheers.

While im on it anyone have an idea of how to remove rivets holding on a chain guard to the chain ring on an old raleigh. Maybe drill them out?

Does anyone know of a brake i can run on the front that has a long bolt to attach it too the forks or where i can get a longer bolt from. The one i just tried to fit the bolt was too short. Ive kind of bodged it on for moment. But its not ideal by any means.

I know you will in family business they can be busy at sometimes.

All these places people have mentioned are great tattoo shops though IMO
