OK, so I've decided to clear out some stuff that has lost its place on my bike(s):

Nitto Mod177AA noodle bar (44cm, 26.0mm clamp) - A few marks, but nothing you'd notice from further than about 12" away. £15 ono

Nitto Pearl (100mm, 26.0mm) - £18 ono (please note there is a scratch at the front from my headset/steerer and discolouration at the back. I'll post a picture of them later).

Spindle for a Sugino 75 BB, still in pack - £10 ono

Ambrosio back brake (will need a longer bold if used on the front) unused - £5 ono

2 x Brooks bar tape (one black, one brown) still in box, black comes with those fancy cork bar plugs (as might the brown, I'd have to check with my housemate). Unwanted polo spoils - £13 ono (ea)

Clamp on Keirin brake for round forks - £20 ono

Pauls brake lever (right hand side). They only come in one clamp size, but I don't know what that is (I got it on the noodle bars, but it was tight) - £20 ono.

Ambrosio brake (came off my Filmore, unused) - £5 ono

Bontrager mudguards, fitted buy never ridden (not enough clearance on my Filmore). Made by SKS - £10 ono

B-17 Narrow (used for the Shoreditch tournament, but otherwise unridden). Complete with bag, saddle creme, etc - £35 ono

T-shirts - all are smalls, to fit 36" - 38" chest (which I, unfortunately, am not). These are just taking up room, so I'll take offers around the £4 ea/3 for £10 mark.

Had a chat with a couple of guys at work about how easy it would be to set up London Polo as a charitable organisation. Think it would be worth it for the tax breaks (which might attract sponsors, etc)? Would involve some admin but I'd do a lot of it and I'm sure other people would help too.

There is no such thing as "push" when you are talking about pedalling forces - you are either pulling the wheel towards you with the top of the chain or the bottom of it, at no point are pushing it. The chain would just fold up.

I was in there a few hours ago. I think I preferred the Corporation Street location to the Custard Factory one (although they are stoked to have ramps in the back room).

People would assume that you were stating a well known fact; it would be about as sensible as saying "Object has piercings" or "Fiddy has several expensive bikes".

No, it looks like it's three cross but any group of four spokes go "drive, no-drive, non-drive, drive" rather than "drive, non-drive, drive, non-drive". Would have thought that if the rims had offset eyelets it would make it hard to build.

While I'm fairly anti-capitalist, I'm way more anti-hippy and I think that this place is going to crawling with them. Large groups of white people with dreadlocks are scary, but not in a halloween way.

Who wants to go riding over the winter? There was some interest in the Names & Faces thread, so I thought I'd formalise it with a threat of its own.

I'm going to be in Brum this Saturday while the missus is at work and I thought it would be nice to go for a ride. Who will be in Brum and up for a pootle? I'd love for some locals to show me round as my knowledge is pretty much limited to the Ideal/Custard Factory/New Street triangle.
