Also depending on the helmet model, but you can get headphone inserts for the helmet ear pads do you can listen to music without having anything in your ears.
Isn't this about as useful as headphones while cycling in traffic? Why not hear what's going on around you? Could save you from a crash. Plus you get the awesome sound of skiing / boarding.

Agree on everyone losing, but I think this war has made two things clear: Ukraine belongs in Europe and Russia is as full of lies as we always thought. There's no room for if's and but's when it comes to Russia's intentions anymore, no room for half baked explanations, etc. Everything they now communicate will be seen as self-serving propaganda.
Ukraine is now seen as part of Europe. The support from the the EU and other western states is rock solid.
I hope this is a turning point for the better. It won't come cheap though.

Something from Hestra. Don’t skimp.
I’d be tempted to try these as well: https://singular-society.com/

I have the Tricoteur one! Bought it from Labour & Wait and thought it was spendy at £90ish. Turned out to be one of the best purchases I've made.

You can get them much cheaper elsewhere though

Another +1 for Yarmo. Got that rollneck as well. Amazing quality for the money. Doesn't really hit North Sea Clothing level of niceness, but not far off. For work I think it's spot on.
Also have a Guernsey sweater that I really rate as well. Wore it more or less daily for 3-4 years and you can barely tell

I had mine out with local, felt nothing apart from the crunching. Zero pain.
Think anesthetics has improved a lot. Or maybe I'm remembering more pain than there actually was when I was younger. (avoided the dentist for 10-15 years...)
