Talk to me about PS5. Got an offer to get a free one with our broadband if we sign up for 24 months. Same price as now so seems like a free ps5.
It’s the “slim digital” version though. So no disc games right? Does that mean I’m stuck with the PlayStation store and paying £££ for games instead of looking around for deals, bargains, etc?
I’m mainly interested in playing Last Of Us, but will give more games a go if I get it. Looked at the PlayStation plus thing and there’s a few decent games on there, but far from everything I want to try.
Is it still a good deal? Or better to spend £450-500 (Swedish prices) on a second hand disc version?

Think the setup was ok, script was shit, dialogue poor, Jake Gyllenhaal surprisingly poor (apart from looking badass, he was good at that) but Dar Salim was great. 3/5 overall.

2nd hand LG 5k, or 4k if 24” is enough. Once you use a high res monitor there’s no going back

How much? I think an inch, maybe two, is fine. Anymore than that though and I think it starts messing with pocket placement etc

Hard at first, then softens up really nicely. It'll be heavy though so the fabric will fall very differently to regular denim. If I do turnups on mine they turn into straight drainpipes.

I've had the same with a pair of Buzz Rickson shorts I bought. Plenty expensive but buttons keeps falling off. Just re-attached to 4th one

Second hand LG 4k, or even better, the 5k. For what they cost 2nd hand I don't see much point in getting anything else. (unless you into gaming etc and want high refresh rates)

Just buy the best you can afford, anything with apple silicon will be fine for your needs. I'm running an M1 base spec for design work (client owned, I have no choice) and it's perfectly fine even for that

Why not embrace it and do some kind of sashiko-inspired repair? I was just about to patch up our leather sofa that way but the cat decided to mark its territory in it so binned it instead

Food prices are still high, so is rent.
Was thinking this too. Low interest rates increased house prices so rent prices follows. Doesn't matter if more people are employed and they make 10% more than last year if your rent has gone up 25% since then
