Heal up Phil. I really hope its not too bad. I just hate those situations when cars are turning right through traffic. Sometimes you just know that there would be nothing you could do if some fucker decides to gun it and go.
@asm, yeah I'm up for a visit down to the hospital. Might drop in on my way to Critical Mass. When were you thinking?

eh Lebowsk, hope you're not genuinely pissed off here - only joshin'.
Phil, I often worry that the internet is not the best place for someone as caring and sensitive as you.
Rest assured, as an experienced campaigner in this seedy world of internet forums, I am not taking any of BMMF's comments to heart. In fact, I don't even like Radiohead. My made up avatar 'Lebowski' rides fixed and likes Radiohead. I'm actually a 13 year old girl who is mad in love with McFly.

If I'd meant Radiohead, I would've said something about a descent into mock-prog indie tedium and shallow political posturing obscuring some quite good guitar playing.
Sorry about the confusion ;)
PS. I've got a leaked copy of P-Funk's next long player, "Funkin' In Your Pink Deep V", and the 4th track i's a cover of Peter Andre's 'Insania'. I shit you not.
So you admit they play good guitar ;)
I went to their concert last night and they served up a massive plate of awesomeness to the people in Victoria Park. They are true electro-rock gods.
PS. Would be very keen to hear that P-Funk EP. I think I heard one of the tracks already on the net. Is "Give up the drops (put risers on the sucker)" on there?

Music to be completely average to, with overtones of insipidity... in your dressing gown.
I'm not normally a patient man, but in the interests of forum harmony I will try to school those
ignorantless fortunate members of our wonderful community.Coldplay are naff, no doubt. Their music is mournful, whiney and Chris Martin's a twat. But Radiohead are on a different level. Comparing the two is like trying to compare Peter Andre and George Clinton.
Upon reflection, perhaps this thread is not the place for this lesson in music appreciation. Perhaps we should continue this discussion in a new thread. Or in a steel cage. You choose the weapon.

It's probably about time we resurected this thread.

I've got a 56cm road frame that you could have for cheap (£75). It's got forward facing drop-outs (not track drop-outs) and it could probably do with a respray, (I'm really selling it, aren't I) but it's a solid steel lugged frame with good geometry, drilled for front and rear.
Let me know if you want pics.

I caught the train up to Glasto last year and it wasn't too bad. If you catch the earliest train out from Paddington it's a pretty easy run. Later on it starts getting hellish.
After the mud bath last year, I decided I'll only go to a festival if I can be reasonably sure of sunshine and no rain. Pretty much rules out England.
All this doesn't help you with a lift obviously. You almost make me wish I had a car ;)

attempted murder?
Absolutely! What do these guys think is going to happen if they hit you with their car? Even if they just slightly brush/tap/swerve into you, they are going to cause you serious injury if not death. How exactly is this different to a guy pulling out a knife or attacking you with a baseball bat.
This shit gets me so angry.

Nice one Joe. Yeah, I'm hoping for a good turnout too. I need lots of people to obtain my mid-table obscurity.
