Ha! As it happens I'm doing a bikepacking trip in the peaks this weekend with a couple of mates. Stanley to Buxton is the plan. Along the midshires way. Not super long but we're not heading off until Sat arvo. Plus pub stops. That and we're slow.

Are Veloce 10 speed ergo shifters (powershift model, which I believe is the latest) capable of working with a triple chainset/front derailieur?

Even if the derailieur is Shimano (FD-4403 as its the only thing I had in the spares bin)?

I believe they'll be fine. Just thought I'd check before I dismantle it all.

If not I'll probably just stick a down tube shifter on.

EDIT: yes it works, but its not as nice as 2x. Shimano FD was a bit bent. So put a Suntour XCE on instead. Worked fine. Probably going on my MTB now instead.

I used to have a pair of Kelly Take-offs. Bought off here and never got round to building the bike they were intended for. Sold back to the guy who I bought them off.
