You have to sit in them to know. I found if it had a convex curve at the lip where my back/shoulders/neck would go it was much more comfortable than if it the concave of the bath just turned 90 degrees to become the flat horizontal “top” if that makes any sense.
There were two German steel brands that had various models that did this - Bette and Kaldewei. Ended up buying something based on comfort which was nothing at all like I expected.

My experience of it so far has been much less positive. The app didn’t work properly, I have just found lots of “studying” I was supposed to do that wasn’t showing anywhere previously. The food logging thing wasn’t clear at all and now I can access it it isn’t as good as MFP.
I’m only 5 days in, but I have missed a lot, and so far find it to be a complete waste of money. Maybe when I get some results I will think differently, because I haven’t yet got to the stage where I am likely to see any value I suppose.
Very frustrating.

Progress photos, not full before and after. [edit to ID photos, which, tbh, don’t really highlight the HOURS of work I have put into this door and make it feel a little pointless :/]
Before - badly ronsealed [photo with black top and bottom]
Mid - sanded [palest wood colour]
After ish - two coats of light oak Sikkens stain, with a UV stain to go on top. [oranger than I would like]I wanted to not darken it but the consensus seems to be that the darker the pigment the longer it will last, and I really don’t want to redo it any time soon. Now I need to choose handles.
It previously had only two 4” hinges, I am going to add at least another one, maybe another two. Does anyone have recommendations for “the best” brass (coloured) hinges?

I am currently half way through doing this, sort of. I am retrofitting an oak door to replace a 30 year old upvc monster. My thoughts:
If you’re painting (not staining) it will be easy.
It will still take ages to sand, fill, re sand, etc. so you need to be patient, but it isn’t hard.
Dual action sander.
Restoring and refitting an existing door is going to be easier as it will fit the aperture.
Buying doorframes to fit both a door and an aperture is tricky, but they can be modified (I will have to do that) - sizing is unclear, places assume that you’ll magically know what is 1981mm and what is 782mm (or whatever - is it the size door that frame fits? Is it the size hole that frame fits into? Loads of websites don’t say).I’ll post before and after photos when I finally finish

EG this:

[I am 198cm tall, the bath was 1800, but a smaller one without a hard ridge sticking into my back would also have been fine.]
