So still thinking about back up's to my PC. I'm starting to think that one of my HDD may have died.

Is it just a case of buying an external drive? Or would another internal drive behave exactly the same?

Starting to think NAS could be over kill - but then I know nothing about this.

I've just gone for a NAS, configured RAID 1 so no more backup worries... We can also do away with dropbox accounts as I've set it us as cloud storage... works a treat!

Rode at Afan over the weekend - Skyline and Whytes Level - Enjoyed the fireroad climbs more than the singletrack back down...think I might be doing it wrong!

Just out of interest, would you rather buy a used leather saddle or a new vegan Brooks? Based on ethics alone. Not really going anywhere with this, I guess it's something I think about but never really discuss.

I think it depends on your reasons for being vegan in the first place - my wife's reason is more around sustainability and climate change, hence she MAY* choose the used saddle rather than new vegan one due to the embedded emissions from production.

Not something thats going to anyone excited here, but can anyone recommend somewhere that could source and fit a recon engine to a Ford Galaxy (1.9 TDi)? I can get one at scrap value from work cos the engine's "siezed"...I don't know any more than it won't turn over.... Other than that it's ok...i know the history from new, so it might make a decent motor to be able to chuck a load of bikes in and go away for weekends. I'm just reading bad things about a lot of engine rebuilders/recon places.....
