Off the top of my head, at track league there were at least:
10 Dolans
7 PXs (8 if you include Guy but i dont think he rode)
4 Cinellis
4 Ovals
4 Fujis
3 Kogas
2 Cervelo T1s
2 Looks- a load of one off's
hope this is good guide to how 'common' yer bikes are!
good market penetration by the Dolan Sisters there.

Alfred Sargent really is a top class leather worker. I wonder if there is actually any better in Britain. Seriously? Possibly not. Magical shoes.
And some of the prices are surprisingly not so astronomic as one one expect. £240 for a piece of wearable art is reasonable to me. But many of the shoes are priced at a premium. No shock there. I apologise to one and all, but this really is a porn thread to me.
This is a fixed gear bike forum. it's for the discussion of, and regarding, fixed gear bikes. you have been very vocal in the past when people try to discuss geared bikes, have you not?
So, what exactly do you think you're playing at?

I really don't think i did miss the point, I've been around on this forum long enough to know that these threads are just vehicles for people to parade their cooler-than-thou knowledge of various brands; the more obscure and exclusive, the better.
You always feature prominently in these, of course.
Enjoyed the camp little 'X' mark at the end of your post - made you appear frivolously superior yet benign and playful, in exactly the way you might have wished ; cut me to the quick, i must say.

i have a bigger one a bit like that, not the same model but another generic one. they're ok for larger torques, like putting on cranks etc 40NM sort of range. but they're not really to be trusted at the lower end of the range, ie : below 16nm, which is why i bought the Giustaforza, as it's got 2 - 16nm range.
with my cheap larger torque wrench i also find it hard to tell when its reached torque - it makes a sort of loud click, but the head doesn't really give - you could keep tightening.
the Giustaforza ( and the much cheaper Ritchey torque key i have, which i also highly recommend) just 'give', as the poster above said. it's very definite, and easy to use. -
fnck me, what is it with torque wrenches??
i have been tightening my own nuts and bolts by hand for 20 odd years, and never ever have snapped/rounded/ruined onei know what you mean, but i have a fancy-schmancy carbon geared bike now, and can't face hearing the carbon crack or splinter as i over-tighten.
for a while i was just using the ritchey torque key, which is a great cheap bit of kit, but is set to 5NM only, so only good for certain small bolts.

I am thinking hard about this...
I've lived in share houses since I arrived in London, and I know for a fact that the total amount paid by the tenants would have eclipsed the mortgage repayments by some margin.
Anyone want to move in?
yes, but these days the issue is getting someone to lend the money at all, and of course raising an absurdly high deposit to persuade them to do so - isn't it?

3 weeks in yellow doesn't seem an unrealistic ambition, although now they've said it it won't happen, of course
