Nope, just one court. They said they would play 'around this time' which was just before 6. I made it clear that we play every Wednesday from 6.30 and that footballers were usually there before on both courts. They seemed to understand that we have something regular and had seen us play before so I don't expect any problems. We can have one court each before they finish as I can't imagine they will play for too long.

Went past Newington just before 6 - no lights, but there were netball players who are going to start playing every Wednesday (or maybe every other week).
I talked to them about polo and how we were working on getting the lights back as we play regularly each Wednesday between 6.30 and lights out. They seemed cool. -

Been to a few nights, really can't see the point to be honest. I love your mate (not that I know him!) for the fact he'll put on Telescopes / Spectrum, but shoegaze is a musical dead end as far as I am concerned. The bands I have seen there, other than the two aforementioned are pretty shite.
I saw some good bands at SC nights. There were a couple of good supports when Jim Reid played there a few years back - The Morning After Girls (i think) and another JAMC wannabe band.

the "Holy Trinity" should be, at least, a Quaternary. The glaring ommission being 5:30. I'll conceed that they were a short lived band, particularly in outbut. But what was output was quite individual and distinctive as well as massively influential on bands in the second two groups.
Five Thirty! I remember a couple of years ago going into someone's office who had an Orange Deluxe poster on the wall.. got chatting to him about how I wish they hadn't split up 530.. turns out it was his band!

Can we announce the fixtures a few days in advance of the next fortnight as by the time people have read it and arranged dates a few days of potential play would have already been missed (i.e. games could have been arranged for tonight/ late notice for tomorrow etc)
