Check out our reviews. We are EVRYWONs' favourite bike shop. Shame we don't sell juice etc. though in this weather...
I drink my tea/coffee exclusively out of Mercian mugs.
In fact, I think all the ones we had for sale are being used by staff. Feels good. Will, I saw your lovely/ugly frame in the shop, and the shattered remains of some HOPE titanium. You beast.

You are so out of touch dude...(^^^^^You too corny!)
Barttape can be had from all over (I haven't actually been in many other shops recently); I'm pretty sure push have Cinelli, you can swing by and have a look at the 52cm sky blue Mercian mixte with pastel barberpole in the window and perhaps buy a Mercian water bottle or mug. -
THere are a couple of brompton rims in PUSH - they will need lacing to 28H (Brompton?) hubs and purchasing of 251mm brompton spokes.
I am good at welding and fabrication.... but we have a ready-made trailer from elgringo, I think. (Fast + free) > (slow + costly) I have lost a couple of phones, so will PM him about it now.

Good points Jon - if you think it is better to drop the heavy array and go for a boominator design then i am cool, what is holding me back is lack of cashish. It (boominator) is well-matured and tested, and will sound awesome.
The lepai was on my radar too - is it coming from HK?
There is a seller on Ebay with used 30-42 AH SLA leisure batteries
for 15-20 quid + delivery. They seem to be popular
and have probably come out of UPSs or similar?
I think elguapo has a trailer sitting around that we could use as a temporary measure.
BTW, there is this for sale on gumtree for 50 squid. - instant 8 hour PA!
We can pass it on to a friendly busker (aufbruch?) if it becomes obsolete. It has a basic EQ
I know that there is an ideal sound system out there to be constructed carefully out of 12mm plywood + the right matched drivers + tweeters + a sweet custom trailer blah, blah... However, looking at the weather this week, I would suggest to get something rigged up sooner, and make mark II the perfect system, and have fun with making it.
Seriously, go look at the weather.

This morning I had no outfit....
After all the 'encouragement' on this thread, I went to Top Hat nr. Putney bridge, where the lovely Rhona sorted me out with a used 3 piece tweed hunting get-up. Great price!
If there is nothing that suits you at Top Hat, then David Saxby next door has some new stuff on the rails.
Now I just need an appropriate bike.

Hey guys - the speakers are sitting in Push. I had a quick look at the specs and only remember that they are 92db sensitivity. Sorry, I can't remember the impedance.
If we wire each side with a 3-series/3parallel array, they the sensitivity (efficiency} will go up a fair bit, without affecting impedance AFAICS. If they are 8 ohm, they a 5 parallel/2 series grid will reduce impedance to 3.2 ohm, which would help loudness without affecting the amp too much.
I reckon peizo (horn) tweeters would be good for top-end - we dont need a X-over for them, and they are quite efficient, though only a few are as good as regular tweeters in terms of fidelity / reproduction. cost 5-10 gn each
For low-end, a couple of high-efficiency 8-12inch drivers would be necessary. I have seen some available for 30-60 quid each that look promising. If we cheap out on these drivers, we will have to get more of them and do the same as for the mids (i.e. grid/array) Not ideal, as it means more weight and more baffling. Crossover is required, if not at least some signal filtering.
I have also been looking up some amp stuff online; the t-series amp6/9s from 41hz are very popular for portable setups, which means some of the research has been done for us. Efficient, run off 12v, small... the amp6/9 kit cost from 35-75 Euros depending.
If Jono's amp needs >12V after the transformer (most home amps txs are tapped at >30V it seems) then it might be a no-go without some more electronics, and that would be inefficient.
Does anyone have a car stereo that we can nick for testing? This would be less efficient, but at least get the music started ASAP.Regd. power supply. The car battery is available, but it will die with deep cycling (designed to be topped up almost constantly.) Since it is virtually new, I am a loath to kill it so quickly. And lug it across London for the privilege.
I have a couple of SMART 6v Sealed Lead Acid batteries possibly somewhere that would be lighter and have a charger too. Perhaps the forum can supply more of these for free, as most people are using better batteries these days.
Ideally we would get hold of a SLA battery from a mobility scooter or similar from Maplin etc, which would be lighter than a car battery and we can parallel them if they capacity is not enough. cost 17-20 quid each.
Or a deep cycle battery from a boat (JB) would be good so we don't have to worry about efficiency too much... they cost more.anyhoo... back to the sunshine.

...the one at the bottom?~~
scratch that, yours is later..
I am so sorry to hear that your bicycle was taken from you forcibly; I hope the police will take this case even more seriously than a regular theft.
