i am speaking at a rememberance day ceremony. nothing bike related. should have plenty of time to enjoy the ride down and get back on the train.

doCA, have you tried velorution for the blizzards? i am riding plain black blizzard sports that i bought from there earlier this year. done over 5000 miles on them. two punctures. the rear is starting to suffer now but boy do they make a nice zippy sound when skidding. i don't think the coloured blizzards look very nice but that is personal choice

okay guys, yes easy enough. just gave it a bit of double click action. here is the route to tower hamlets cemetery.
look out for those fireworks!
can finish it off as far as the pub near spitalfields if you like but it was just a straight run to aldgate along the Mile End road. -

MA3K|³| Steep like the first three quarters of Swains lane(which is OK) or STEEP like the last quarter?
it's been a couple of years since i last went up so my memory plays tricks. too many miles, too many hills. i would say parts of ditchling are up there with the top of Swains lane. maybe BMMF can elucidate further

Sano (Samsonite) I'm running 48:16 as well. What's the consenus of opinion?
a: Nothing to worry about, you'll be fine
b: Hmm, you might struggle a little
c: For god's sake, change it out! Your legs will fall off half way up Bitchling!somewhere between a and b sano, but you will make it. i know from the halloween ride you roll with quite cut down risers, as i do too around town. a hill like this will make you feel like something with a little more leverage.

MA3K|³| Wow, I think I am going in 48 x 16, the gear I did Dunwich on.
How steep is this Bitchling Deacon? ( I usually go over Saddlescombe Road)Food-wise leaning towards fish and chips, seaside right?
it ain't steeper than Swains Lane but just goes on a lot longer. you will do it on 48 x 16, but i will be glad of an 18 sprocket.
oh, and i might be in the fish n chips party. unless billys in montpellier road are still serving their legendary all day breakfasts
