dogsballs mashton is that a docking station under the laptop or another laptop!?
it's a docking station. Massive thing, I hate it.
There's also another monitor pointing away from me on that post on the left. It looks into the atrium - I like to stream porn to it when important people are in the building. (or would if I had the balls)

fc9k I've only listened to it once or twice. It was OK, nothing that really made me want to keep listening, but it might be a grower.
+1 to 36c being ace though. Just like Cypress Hill's first and Dr. octagon's dr octagonecologist, all top debut albums.
"Holy shit, there's a horse in the hospital."
Brilliant album

Possibly I've only been there once, on a Sunday evening and it was really quiet. But a Thursday evening near Christmas is a different matter. Given that, it may not even be possible to make a reservation.
Who wants to give them a bell and see if they would reserve a room for 30 odd (?) respectable cyclist chappies and ladies?
I know that I am inviting a chorus of "You fucking do it, you cunt" responses but I feel so hungover today that I don't think I could lift a phone receiver.

Well, here's two gmap links to satellite pics of the two court yards.

Inside the Rugby is pretty pokey and doesn't have much character and has a few grumpy locals who might not relish us taking it over. Put it this way, it's the only pub within a 5 minute walk of my house that I never go to. How it managed to get itself into Timeout t'other week, I have no idea.
But, I really am not precious about this. It's going to be a great night, wherever we do it :-)

Don't want to throw a spanner in the works, but I'm really not sure about the Rugby Tavern as a venue. It's not very big inside (and not very nice either, really.) It does have big square out side it where we could do some tricks or something but it will be freezing cold.
I was thinking about the Kings Head, off Borough High St - really nice old pub, with a proper courtyard for bike locking. It has loads of rooms, one iwth an open fire which we could totally colonize.
What do you lot reckon?

OK scott, I've been ignoring this thread for a month or so, knowing that it would lead to some credit card damage.... Now I've jumped back in and caught up - the ninja's are amazing, exactly what I want.
What's the lead time on one of those bad boys right now?
