i don't want to be odd or anything, and maybe it was after seeing the pic of asm trackstanding in the studio, but anyway...
last night ASM, turd and Alexis (and maybe one or two others) were in my DREAM.
and your studio doubled up as a haven for tramps and a shortcut to oxford street, yang showed me how to cut through. and we talked about bikes. there was no funny business.
It was FUCKING WEIRD though.

how odd, can of worms and all that.
i think of margaret thatcher when i want to delay the inevitable. if that makes sense.
(it's kinda gross).
i also saw her outside the ritz once. and to be honest, i was so amazed that i just gaped. later i was all "fucking milksnatching dissensus spreading evil warmongering right wing piece of shit".

mr_tom
pj i forgot about this, can't remember where i read it first:
Saturday after Margaret Thatcher dies: Class War death party, 6pm, Trafalgar Square
I was pootling around Highgate cemetery in the summer, and it occurred to me that when Thatcher's finally interred, it'll be really easy to find her grave, as it'll be the one with the light-up disco dancefloor on it.
very funny...

i have been cycling in the malvern hills this weekend. the gps thingy sounds great, however, i did enjoy, in a luddite fashion, the stuck together gmap-pedometer printoff and took some odd lanes and country routes.
OT - it's so good to get out of london for a bit. yesterday went out at 7am, came back around 12, only saw two other cyclists the whole time, bit of a surprise. weather was beautiful, even the cars were fairly polite. it was amazing. plenty of roadkill to look at too. it all got quite existential and zen. and the hills were amazing, huge, lengthy climbs, swooping descents. what a blast.

(obligatory bike shot, next to pool hall)

Thinking of Maggie stops you buying a London Langster?
i was thinking of neither of these things.
but nevermind, just the thought is enough to make me shudder and change whatever i was doing.
