Never stopped smoking tbh. Ended up using the vape indoors and then smoking outside, not ideal. I smoke very few (sub 5) Rollie's a day now and it was never really about health, more the smell and cost. I smoke other things so always had baccy, and vaping was starting to become an unwanted and spendy hobby.

Pretty sure you could run an internal geared on those coaster dropouts unless I'm missing something. Rim brake or disc?

I love doing front wheel skids on the UA but when I want to. Pulling the brake hard and continuing straight on isn't great in traffic.

So you need new dropouts to convert it?

Anyway squeezed a 1mm too big strap onto this just to get it on my wrist and it's given me a big smile, the hour markers in particular the 4 really do it for me.

That's a good shout. Obviously not a replacement for skx but I really want Dov's LHD, I wear my watch on the right and was eyeing up the pelagos a lot a while ago in a previous career (life) when I was more flush. Currently that cash is better sitting in the bank I feel.

Coaster brakes have use in certain applications, I would say that a cargo bike is not one of them.

Thanks Ed. Yeah I might look at some of those. Steeldive and the like are out as I don't like the logo one bit. Thought I saw a similar budget brand where you could specify no logo dial but can't find it now.

Sorting a strap for my found Wetrista will keep me happy for a bit anyway.

I loved my skx, and opportunity to try something new I guess.

Also raised the Rado Captain Cook a short while back in here this ceramic edition I think is really nice, the smoked crystal gives the Skelton movement a little more refinement I think and the finish looks very good.

Flat got broken into about 18 mo ago, they took mostly tech but also found my watch box (nothing of any real value which somehow was even more frustrating), biggest loss was an skx013 that I only really ever took off to put the Suunto on for measured activities. Fast forward to now and a second house move since then and I've just turned up one of the watches I thought was gone so that cheered me up a little!

Skx013 now discontinued, I absolutely cannot stand the 5 on the Seiko 5's or the font for 'Automatic' , what else can I look at for similar new RRP that has the size/feel of the skx?
