Remember they're people like us, there's dickheads who ride bikes which is something that a significant amount of people here seem to forget so don't assume all cyclists are better than all motorists.
The difference is dickheads on Bikes don't kill people when they make a "mistake" due to lack of patience.

^ Yeah I agree, it is very easy to jump to the conclusion that the dangerous behavior of motorists is due to malice, whereas it is most likely due to ignorance. The lorry driver seems to show a lack of patience overtaking the cyclists around the outside of a bend on narrow streets. He felt he could squeeze his truck through the gap but failed to show much appreciation of the danger he was placing the cyclists in. Reckless?... yes, but malicious?
I think the point is that it's worse if it's due to him being inpatient. If it was malice then he has some reason. if it's impatience then I feel it's worse. It doesn't matter if it's malice or because of the lack of patience. It will result in the same thing if it goes wrong - Death of a cyclist.
It's not surprising that mmccarthy is semi trying to defend the driver. He's on the wrong forum.

There's nothing british about the BNP.
I do however believe that immigration into this country needs to be better controlled. Rather than let any old benefit claiming shirk into the country, we should take a policy like that which I believe Australia take - Professionals are welcome. If you are qualified and can get a job on arrival, come on in, a welcome with open arms.
Don't speak english? Not qualified? Piss off to some other place... the only reason we have so much immigration is out legendary welfare system. People can come over here and then get a house, courtesy of the hard working tax payers in this country. That's hardly fair now, is it?[/inflammatory rant]
Hardly any of that is true.............
Daily Mail that way --->

If I read that correctly, he wasn't in the wrong, he was on the outside near the pavement?
That's exactly how I got knocked off(on my one and only time) few years back, bombin it down Farringdon Rd and some weapon cut me up and did a left at the Betsey Trotwood pub, he didn't even indicate and if he did it still would've been too late. I slammed on my brakes and whacked his rear wing, bounced on his boot and managed to land on my feet. Bike went under the car, snapped the front wheel. The cunt drove off!!! Chased him while shouting at him(he had his window down and could blatantly hear me) but he put his foot down and fucked off.....
Yea completely drivers fault as he overtook you and then gave you a lefthook.

Got hit this morning on the kings road by a chelsea tractor, suprise suprise. I was on the inside and the silly bitch took a left without indicating and nailed me in the process, over the handlebars I went and landed square on my hip (quite sore but nothing serious). Obviously infuriated, I clambered to my feet and proceeded to eat the head off her for not realising how dangerous her terrible driving is to cyclists/pedestrians alike. She said it was my fault, for cycling on the inside? am I mad in thinking that we are not supposed to cycle alongside the footpath? Futhermore, its the kings road, narrow and lots of traffic, thus cycling in the middle of the road is about as clever as commuting on a unicycle
Anyway, didn't get here reg but shouted enough profanities at her to never do it again, silly silly woman.
It is kinda silly filtering on the inside.

The feel of the platters are adjusted exactly the same way on both. 2 screws on the back of the unit.
In my experience of both it is better to use the vci-100 with a good external sound card. (you can get both 2nd hand for a fraction of the price of the vci-300)
With the vci - 100 setup you can use the mixer that's already in the club/bar

Cool cool, from a start off point though I'll still be able to run some speakers straight off the Vestax just to fuck around at home and then buy a soundcard later right?
No.....
but you will be able to run speakers off of you laptop/desktop output but you will not be able to cue up tracks.
Do not go for the vestax vci 300 as the soundcard is crap.

I have one of these

and one of these
http://www.stantondj.com/v2/fs/prod_fs2.aspIf you are gonna spend all that money on a vestax vci 100 you should get a decent sound card
It's not against the law to sell a bike with no brakes.
It's against the law to sell a bike with no brakes and say it passes British standards
All you have to say to the customer is that it doesn't pass british standerds and don't ride it on the road.
