How is that calculated? I mean, I bought this place 15 years ago and live in it so do they "start the CGT clock" from when I would move out? Presumably I could also move back in for x years and fuck their CGT collection?

Presumably stuff like lightbulb changes can be written into the contract? I'm pretty sure it was when I rented.
Same with "this place was in THIS state, normal wear and tear is expected, but if we come back and it's got walls covered in mould and the toilet floods every flush" then I can have their organs removed or something?

Eliminating Di2 seems a bit backwards. But if everyone is sticking cables and/or SRAM on their bikes then maybe they didn't want the extra cost. Did they fix the dropout problem?

Should be pretty easy (famous last words) as it's only a 1BR and modern enough. I'm more concerned that the tenants will treat it like shit (you know the "it's got a damp problem" = "no, you cunt, you've never opened a window"). Obviously I'd want the most cash for the least amount of hassle but I'm really more concerned with people trashing the place when its managed by people with no interest in the property itself.

haha fair enough. I went through a death metal phase in my younger years but to be honest can't stand most of it these days. I'm mostly a techno head now but do still listen to a fair bit of thrash from the big hitters back in the day (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Sepultura, Pantera, little bit of Anthrax, Helmet and some random other stuff - the only "newer" band I ever got into was SOAD).
Actually seeing an ACDC cover band this weekend (still spewing that ticketmaster fucked my purchase when actual ACDC were playing in London). Yes, I know this ain't metal but it's the gig thread...

Fair. Cheers. In general the less I can give the scumbags in charge to piss up the wall on fake projects to line the pockets of their buddies, the better but I generally can't be arsed with any funky accounting shite. I just need enough money for food, beer and the odd bike upgrade and I'm good.
I will fucking bury anyone that tries to steal my pension though so unless they can somehow freeze my assets before I can burn the lot, they can get fucked.
