I preferred L1 L2 R1 R2, then rotate anti-clockwise on the d-pad twice. Better cache of weapons.

posted about this in the video game thread, but is there enough people on here who own a ps3 or xbox360 to get a league going on either pro evolution soccer 2011 or fifa 11?
would be nice to get some proper online football going.
Just a thought, will post the same up in the fantasy football thread as well, to see if there's some response there as well.in! please be FIFA!

Was playing both the demos today, and pro evo was far, far better.
Have to disagree with you here. I downloaded the PES11 demo last week and was left a bit unimpressed. Ball physics are fucked, the ball just does not roll. It's like playing in really thick grass. Ref's a bit too whistle-happy for my liking too, light contact using X + square all too often resulted in a foul. Players don't seem to tussle for the ball in mid-air. Sprinting feels awkward, tapping R1 doesn't make them any quicker either. It's not as easy to sprint past players on a through ball, or down the wing.. The whole thing just feels a bit sluggish. Granted, it's probably cos i'm used to the button config of Fifa but PES really doesn't seem as fluid. Graphics are fantastic, though - faces are photorealistic.
I used to love playing PES on the PS2, but I think FIFA has the edge now.

I do! I've been doing upper body stuff for the last 15 months of so, it's isn't really anything to do with improving performance on the bike, I just want to get stronger and look better. Trying to get my body in proportion too ;)
Free weights, picked up a set on Gumtree, got a bench and a pair of free standing squat stands. Also been doing pulls and using the parallel bars at the exercise park in Primrose. I'd be up for a workout session down there if anyone's up for it.. I love it, and would recommend it to anyone.

Nah this one happened a few weeks ago. I saw this vid on a shock site a go on, woman driving an Audi A4 hits some poor bloke at over 100mph, whilst overtaking .. if it's the same one I saw, it happened in Bosnia, I think. It's quite nasty, though I hear she was arrested for it, so hopefully she's go to prison for a long time. Not gonna post it up here but PM me if you want a link.

definitely felt like a non event by the time i got there. no sound systems, no food, no floats, no stalls. just hundreds and hundreds of police, some in riot helmets, and a few tourists and strollers.
i was hoping the event was gonna run into the night, at least for a few hours. from what coppithat said, it seems they wanted to clear the streets by nightfall. bumped into one bloke who said he saw one copper get shanked in the neck yesterday.
not bright times indeed..

jesus, mike. that shit's fucked up .. dread to think of the consequences of a fork failure at high speed.
there's a little bike workshop run by a couple of polish guys just off holloway road, it's called jazz cycles, they should be able to sort you out with a new fork. they're nice guys.
