smyth - sorry I don't accept that. how easy you put on muscle is primarily determined by your testosterone level, which decreases with age. somatotypes are pretty irrelevant, sounds like a bit of a cop out tbh. 'i can't weight train, my body type is all wrong for it' :). put on 15kg of muscle and you'll be calling yourself a mesomorph.

The more muscle you have, the more you can eat without getting fat. Do cardio, but don't neglect to weight train like a lot of people do. If you just do cardio exercise like bike riding, your weight is more likely to fluctuate, ime. Henry come down to the outdoor gym in Regents Park with me some time.
