It is that bad. I haven't even got my new wheels yet, nor ordered the new bottom bracket. And when those things happen the Bob Jackson is finished and cannot be improved (atmo).
Yet last night I was surfing around, playfully toying with the idea (it always starts like this) of perhaps getting a Yamaguchi.
I was also toying (again) with the idea of sending my Serotta back to the factory to have the frame taken apart, geometry changed slightly, track ends fitted and sent back to me.
The worst bit is that I know I'll end up buying a Japanese track bike every time I see that Level that won the fgg award. And I know I'll never harm my Serotta, instead I'll pretend that a new titanium fixed time trial bike would be more cost efficient.
My wife will kill me.
Well, she would if she'd just come back to the country!

Sapim CX-Ray spokes would do the job, or yes you need the Campagnolo ones.
Give Cycle Fit a call, explain the problem and see what they can do:

rkn http://www.portlandcyclewear.com/ though there stuff isn't great quality. But the exchange rate should make it cheaper.
Yup.
Just don't do what I did and wash them at too high a temperature. Shrunk two in one go.

Here's the training thread:

70 inches is a good gear.
Langster wheels, can't think why they'd be a problem.
Padded shorts a very good idea.Bring fluids and food for the trip (especially if you're not used to distance - the trick is to hydrate often in small bits).
Make sure you bring basic puncture repair, tools, and stuff. Spare tubes plus air canisters at minimum. We're doing a practice thing on Wednesday night of 40 miles just to make sure people are comfortable with the kind of distance involved. Check the other thread and we'll work out the meeting place and time to suit everyone. It will be a evening/night training thing.
