the-smiling-buddha
hippy £105!
mumble rich mumble still gonna get passed by gramps on his Halfords special mumbleI'd wear that grandad stuff before you got me into one of these

they even come with a special 'insert'
The FI.Uno insert is made out of 4 different components that are shaped to support and contour the body’s anatomy when in motion. Its seamless-touch surface construction features a road shock absorbing foam cushioning that is bonded onto the elastic, frictionless, skin contact textile. Mesh net insert in-between the braces provides a more stable fit by preventing bib-short movement.
I think I am going to be sick...:(
This is what a friend of mine thinks of my Assos bib shorts:

Spin like a bastard is closer. Though there is drag and resistance from the road, tyre, etc... so it won't spin forever.
It will make the bike heavy though. Enough magnetism to avoid contact when given the combined weight of rider and bike will not be light.
I agree with TheBrick, it won't work because of too many technical issues. Great concept nonetheless though.

I'm a Software Architect for a multi-national company. Used to be in the music business, but jumped ship when the going was bad and Belle & Sebastian were being shitty and Snow Patrol were just a drain on the money. Went into programming and suddenly started earning a decent living, so haven't really looked back. It's almost a decade later now and I'm at the top of my game so the money is pretty good. If only I didn't have this damned marriage to pay off.

Home contents with Hiscox. They pay cash when replacing stuff, it's insured for £2,400.
Biggest catch with home insurance is that 90% of insurers will only replace a bike with vouchers... which means having to go to Halfords or Evans for the replacement. Make sure you will get cash back in the event that you have to claim.

Well, the designs are in... now how do you vote?
Here is how it's going to work:
1) Choose ALL of the designs you want to vote for, you can vote for more than one design however you only get one chance to vote... and you cannot change your vote.
2) Note down the name of the spoke cards you want to vote for in a list, for example;Harold 1
Derek 2 a3) Email your vote to david.kitchen@gmail.com with the subject "Spoke Card Vote" by 4pm on Friday 29th June 2007.
That's it. I'll collate all of the votes in a big spreadsheet and the cards that have the most votes will be announced on Friday 29th June before 6pm.
Note: The naming convention of the files is: "Username Design PartOfAPair". I will keep pairs together in the end results, so a vote for both Side A and Side B of a two-sided card will count as one vote, and you only have to vote for one side to effectively vote for the whole of that spoke card.
Here are the entries in alphabetical order (by username);

It's anonymous to all except me. And don't try and change someone else's vote... it's supposed to be a laugh, just vote for the ones you like and would stick in your spokes! :)

I don't know.
I saw an empty discussion named 200, but there were no posts in it. It said the post count was 5 but nowt was showing. So I deleted it thinking it must be an error.
Was there actually any posts in the discussion?
Afterwards I wondered whether it started public and you turned it into a whisper. That might explain it.
