But then the guy that donated them would have got an email as he stated his donations qualify for gift aid? Why would a seatpost be swapped out, there can't be that much money in an old carbon post?

@Josh can you shed any light on the missing parts? I think the charity you work for is on point. When dick heads down my way where "protesting" refugees in hotels I was there every weekend. Fucking awful if they where pinched from a lad donating multiple fairly high end bikes to help some people that need such little provided support.

Maybe but I can't see them for sale and why remove the carbon seatpost and saddle? I'm happy with what I bough (when I get it) but I can see why he is unhappy.

In another twist I found the person who donated the bike and he is pretty annoyed that it seems like the mack wheels he donated to a charity have somehow disappeared.

I did but they accidentally sent me a boardman. Sure we will sort it out!
