Looking for the above Frameset in size 52,3 or max 54. Got to be red and preferably bubble free unless it’s cheap so it can be sorted. He’d brought it down from Woking for testing. He was with us for about a week. He wasn’t the owner, just the delivery guy who left it at the track and went everyday. They also have an internal test circuit, not just the ring. We always have convoys of Porsche etc whizzing through town. The best was a couple of years ago when a Dutch test driver got stuck in the old town in a Lotus and had to reverse all the way out.

We once had a guy turn up here at 2am who’d booked a room thinking we were near the ring. We are in the old centre so there’s no parking for non residents so he had to leave his low loader with a McLaren Senna parked in plain sight on the street!

Yes we are open from May this year in our last season as a b and b. After that we are taking 3 of the rooms back but we will still rent out a large 2 bedroom apartment with its own huge roof terrace from next year. It’s nearly 500 years old soon. We started the b and b as a reason to get here really so we had an income of sorts. Out of season my wife does private English tutoring and I make bespoke steel furniture.

Thanks, many an hour I’ve spent out there turning soil, trenches etc. Everything made more difficult by only having access through the house to get everything in and out.
