To chaley you are right it was a stock photo of a crown race not the split crown race.
Asked about an alumium langster headset and showed photos and the guy behind the counter at condor went to speak to someone downstairs. Came back and guy mentioned they had shims and went to get the shims and got the headset I mentioned upthread. The sales guy brought the is2 headset for a tapered headset. -

No clue needed
EDIT: Nowhere near seven sisters as is claimed, the clue mentioned that the location was mural of the month (which was over a decade ago) on the londonmuralprotectionsociety webpage https://londonmuralpreservationsociety.wordpress.com/2011/09/18/mural-of-the-month-the-london-terrace/

Not taking things personally, sorry it it comes across as that. Am clueless with integrated headsets. I know more about threaded headsets where you have to measure the fork crown. With this langster I have less than no idea as I need to work out what someone else has done replacing the bearings and installing a different fork.

Genuinely sorry if I am asking something stupid. Really not sure of what I am doing.
Was looking at split ring crown race, as you mentioned, and this https://www.condorcycles.com/collections/headsets/products/condor-headset-crown-race?variant=44762169540929 came up, the photo looks like a normal crown race. Then noted that there was the headset in the link and telephoned condor to confirm that they had one in the shop and it was IS2.
So I asked you guys to confirm.

Have a jobsworth one from planet x as it was very cheap or free with cable outer and a CK cable cutter too, used for cutting power cables.
I usually cut with a small angle grinder, cuts on the cable outers seem straight and the plastic inner liner isn't crushed.
