Rapha is iconic, man. It hasn't changed, we've changed. We got old. All we are is dust in the wind, dude. Dust. Wind. Dude. Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives.
This is pretty much it. Rapha is iconic. They are the reason brands like PAS and other upmarket brands exist. As a young poor b-stard, I sneered whenever they were brought up. Now I can appreciate the quality on offer (at sale prices). I remember pre Rapha cycling clothing market and it was uninspired. That weirdo complaining the owners are Republican when Rapha has a pretty in your face left leaning Diversity and Inclusion stance is hilarious. Their quality is less consistent than 10 years ago I grant you, and I'm not a fan of the latest colourways but no one is going to buy classic designs over and over to sustain their business. How many black jerseys with an white armband does one need? Fashion is a hard enough business, you evolve or you die at 44x P/E .
Delivery - there does seem to be some hold up in despatch these days. I don't blame delivery delays on Rapha but I do take umbrage with them continuing to use Evri.
Returns - Evri took my return and did jack all with it for 10 days. Chatted with Rapha CS and they refunded me on the spot. Their CS is top notch.
I had a crash on the weekend and tore holes in my Shakedry (tears), the crash repair team came back and said it wasn't repairable but offered me a very generous voucher for my next purchase. They didn't have to do that - thats an accident they had no hand in.
Criticize their price points, designs, and somewhat corny marketing, but their customer service is top notch and their kit is still really nice, thought out, technically very good (shake dry and fur insulated gilets are my fave) and you know they stand behind their products.

GP5000 --> 4 Seasons. It'll just be for some touring. Don't mind slower than 5000s but want good rolling and more puncture resistance... cobble stones are on the menu.
@samdaniel yeah i saw the price tag and closed the tab lol

its not illegal but it's unethical and violates the spirit of this forum. these classifieds are a place to get a hassle free exchange done for a fairer than market price.
actions like this will slowly erode the spirit of this forum and turn it into an untrusting and sadder place to trade. everyone i've met to buy/sell with has been an enthusiast and sound cyclists. some of them have even let me ride off with the parts and send money after. you don't get that out on ebay and gumtree, that's why this place is great.
I know you're playing devil's advocate here and proving that there was no arbitrage, but we shouldn't be defending such actions regardless of PnL

My work hours mean i dont get out on weekdays much (too dark, bad urban area for riding) , so the compromise was indoors before or after work and longer outdoor rides on the weekend. About 80% of my riding time is indoors. As my goals are still to increase fitness for summer and events, there is motivation to get on and do the 1-1.5hrs a day. I actually prefer it for training purposes, you dont have to deal with drivers, bad roads, traffic stop and go and you can go as hard as you want for as long as you can. It cant replace outdoor riding/skills dev but it is the most time efficient work out imo.
Like the other poster said, you need to have a reason to get on, a plan to follow, a goal to achieve. Getting on and spinning doesnt work for me. Putting trainer on ERG and doing a z2/intervals with a good tv show on does. Getting on zwift and tackling one of the climbs with a smart trainer works, chasing virtual friends down too. Dont just stare at your stats ans clock for an hour, that will put anyone in the asylum!
It cant replace outdoor riding but for some of us, its the next best thing. Set yourself up for success, set goals, test your setup for what works for you (music, tv, fans), make a plan and stick to it. Thats what worked for me anyway.
Ps this is for winter only. During the summer, my trainer use drops significantly and I try to get out for morning rides instead.

went through the process in feb 2020, same year as the one pictured - basically contact cannondale and tell them you're affected. i got set up with evans at london bridge, told a couple months, then covid and not a peep for a year. finally got through randomly after months of them not picking up the phone and they had changed the system and not notified me when it came in. booked an appointment, dropped off my bike and they installed the fork, cut the steerer for me and installed a new headset and plug. an annoying process and luckily the old fork did not break, mainly delayed because of covid, but also because they switched systems and the fork was just lying there until i called. in person service was great though.
as far as i know they only issue black ones, and having a fork delivered to you was not an option as they need to collect and destroy the old one.

Hi, clearing out some stuff.
Cannondale Escape Hanger carbon bars. 31.8mm x 44cm 130mm drop. 199g. In good condition just a few cosmetic install nicks. Really nice bars but unfortunately too wide for me. £70
Rapha Core (Large) navy blue. Used. No marks, zippers work well, good condition. Maybe worn 20times max. £30
Rapha Core (Large) pink. Used. Even better condition than above, worn less than a dozen times. £SOLD
Castelli Squadra high viz windjacket. XXL. Sizing is wonky on this one, pure 'italian' 'cyclist fit' but if you fit Core large this should fit as long you dont have a barrel chest and big arms. Ive worn this a total of 3 times but upgraded. Somehow the logos melted while it was new and folded hence the red marks. I tried to de colour the rear badge so it wouldnt spread when folded. Think this will serve well as a commuter jacket. £20
Pickup in SE10 pls.
