I think it’s because they spec a high mount top pull and they don’t throw the chain out enough to get the big ring on a 73mm bb this https://problemsolversbike.com/products/direct-mount-adapter means it works. A bottom pull would solve this but then the arm hits the tyre. I think. I gave up trying to get my head round it along time ago.

I got knocked off and run over by a taxi driver doing a Uturn without signalling. Many many physio visits etc and I was back on my bike without pain. But it took me over a year to ride down that road, even though it’s on my route to work. 4 years on and it still worries me to ride that bit. Shit takes time, don’t rush any of it. -

#csb They are a good base for any conversion tbh. I helped out with a Nissan 2.5td swap a few years ago which was aces and drove pretty much the same as the standard rolls, just got 35mpg instead of 15mph.

Justin, did you decide on a storm porch in the end?
The steel and cedar idea you posted a while ago is they I’m leaning at the moment for ours, I don’t suppose you went any further with the steel fab bloke did you? Was wondering if you had any drawings or specs? Cheeky I know, but it paid off last time :D -

Fuck me! The power in the garage went out last night. I had a route around and the rcd in the mini fuse box had failed. MiL said she presses it every couple of weeks or so, because it says to test it on a sticker stick to the outside. Anyway it wouldn’t turn back on after tripping the power.
I rang a sparks this morning and hold him what had happened and sent a pic of the part. £450 to replace and fit, oh and I can come round on the 12th November to sort it.
I took it out, sprayed it with contact cleaner, put it in the warm to dry. It’s fine.
I’m not dissing trades, but fuck me if you have no idea about diy £450!
