Concerning the groupset as I said I've been collecting Mavic stuff from a long time. I even have the technical assistance professional gear from this period. Here are some shots to illustrate. For example a nice paire of prototype Mavic levers with integrated ZAP system shifting designed for the pros. Some other parts I'll use for the build.

Here a picture of the frameset on wheels but be aware that the front wheel is size 700c while the fork needs a 650c wheel. I can’t decide between 631 or 632 crankset… yep and since I'll be exposing it in my appartement I’ll use a wheelset without the +/- and front stickers so the frame gets most of the attention.

Hi everyone 😉
I am going to regroup all of my bike related project in this topic. Let’s start with some crazy TT bikes.
I've recently found this beautiful 1989 time trial frameset from Peugeot Team Z member Pascal Peyramaure in very good condition. I have very few pictures of original set-up, but that doesn’t matter. Indeed, I would like to rebuild it differently since I won't be finding the original discwheel and carbon handlebar.
I have been gathering vintage parts for a long time now so I have some nice bits to play with. I was thinking about a NOS condition full Mavic groupset with bullhorn and a set of Mavic Comete and Mavic 3G.

Nice CX frame ! Mine has some of they brown chips too but it's normal for its age.
Thanks @SideshowBob that was pleasant article. It makes me wish so much that my frame was a few centimeters bigger. I would keep it for sure !
Hey @Jeromeo isn't your 58 frame too big for you? I would love to swap it for a bigger size.
So if anybody is listening : I would swap it for a MX-Leader in bigger size no matter the condition of it's still rideable :) but if you have anything else feel free to propose I don't bite !

Hi guys,
I'm feeling guilty of having this beautiful Merckx MXL sitting in my workshop under the dust. It's a 56,5*57cm (C-T-C) which is too small for me. It's in good condition, it has some chips in the paint but no dent, bump or cracks. It's made of Columbus MXL which I understand is MAX with some differences so they call it Minimax/MXL (if I recall Merckx wanted one of the tube smaller in diameter).
I'm looking to swap it for something bigger so feel free to propose me anything as awesome. I would love to ride a Somec, Gios, Pinarello etc. Frameset not for sale. Sorry for the bad pictures.
Cheers
EDIT: SOLD

I don't think people really understand the quality of 3D printing depends on the orientation, material quality and layer height like @Tijmen exposed. You can design a nice CAD part, but the end product won't match your expectations (circular shapes will be sort of pixelated). I doubt people will put it on their fancy bikes. In my opinion if you really want to make something nice you'll have to do plastic injection so you'll need a mold. You could still use recycled plastic (check PreciousPlastic for instance).

Hello guys, long time no see ! Concerning this build, I will have to put it on hold because I had to store the frame at a relative's place since I moved out.
Still, I've made some minor progress by first acquiring the specific down-tube part to hold gear levers. I luckily found them on eBay for 20 euros, it's a Gipiemme design. Then I found the correct Benotto bar tape for cheap too.
I do have a Dura-Ace 7400 groupset (with brake levers seperated from the gears) but I was thinking more of doing a 100% French build...I'm just a bit sad the tubing is Reynolds haha.
Build check should look like this:
I'm having trouble finding an adequate Mavic seatpost in 26,4mm that wouldn't cost me a liver on eBay. Then I'll need to find a nice Corima Ultra Pro seat or something else.
Anyway, I won't be giving updates on this build for at least a year because I'm far from the parts. But I have other builds I will be able to show you guys like:
