Thanks, I had no idea. I'm pretty sure it's French now, unlikely to be Raleigh as English bikes weren't really heavily imported down here to Portugal but French bikes definitely were. Luckily I think the steerer is too long for any kind of frame my size anyway so I can probably get away with cutting the threaded part but good to know!

Was there ever a different thread standard for 1" forks?

I bought a fork a few months ago that I believe to be from the 60s. I was just trying it out now on a random frame and I noticed the headset won't thread at all. The threads look perfectly fine and clean. What is happening here?

Is sticker bombing frames too 2011? I feel like my bike is too bland, it's getting very boring to look at. Any low cost suggestions to make it less boring? Maybe a splatter paint job, I guess that's easy and cheap enough, right? But what colour?

I think it's just one of those cases where it can't be overruled simply because there actually is contact to justify the foul. That makes it not a clear and obvious mistake. If Sterling didn't actually get touched it would be reverted.

I wouldn't have given it because of how soft it is but I see why they went with it. Kind of surprised they didn't ask the ref to see the replay though, at least from the angles we were shown on TV it didn't look obvious that he was touched.

It's not the best angle but Kane doesn't touch the ball, the defender does. Kane comes from behind and just naturally runs into him
