this might be one of the funniest things I've ever seen
talkRADIO (@talkRADIO) Tweeted: Mike's interview with Insulate Britain spokesman Cameron lasts less than a minute.

edit: oh my god I thought the tweet was making fun of it but I just realized it was posted by their own account...amazing

I have an old low end 200gs crankset which is coated in this black plastic. I'm pretty sure this is just cosmetic and I'd like to remove the plastic and polish the metal underneath. Is there an easy way to do this, aside from just scraping the entire thing by hand? Like some product that will dissolve the plastic or something?
EDIT: Nevermind, they are steel underneath and not aluminium, I should have guessed

In Europe, or at least in the EU, I'd argue it's impossible that any ebike capable of more than 25km/h will ever be allowed on cycle lanes. I can see it happen in places like America though.
I agree they're a good alternative to the classic 2-stroke motorcycle, but I don't think there's any gap in the market at all.
2-strokes were replaced by electric mopeds everywhere - where I live, a tiny city in Portugal, mopeds were always very popular and these days you don't see any ICE ones at all, they're all electric. The same thing happened in Chinese cities much earlier. That gap has been filled already. I don't think there's even public interest for ebikes with higher speeds aside from vanity projects or sports, certainly not for transport. -

I started listening to Cum Town recently after watching this:

I think it's pretty good, it's been my go-to podcast at work for the past 2 weeks.

I got this bike for cheap locally wanting to turn it into a cheap bike I can take anywhere, not spending any money to restore it. Ended up spending some 40€ in new parts but that's all and I'm pretty pleased with it. It's now pretty usable although the gearing is not really ideal for me but oh well. Saddle is pretty shit too but it works.
There is a slight bodge, I'm using a crown race that's not for this headset because it takes a 27.0mm one and the headset I had was for 26.4mm. The shape is very similar but not the exact same one and you notice it when looking at it up close. After ~100km the bearings seem not to have been affected at all by this but it's something I'll have to change asap just to be safe.
Pics are before and after I got it. I've already installed the bar plugs btw, no penis degloving for me.

I've never had any social media accounts and don't know how Facebook or Instagram even works despite being 28. I never felt like I missed out on anything but I'm certainly an outlier. I do remember a time when everybody just suddenly stopped using MSN Messenger and switched to Facebook but I think my closest group of friends kept MSN/Skype so I had no reason to change. Then Whatsapp came about and that's all I've used until today.
I have a reddit account which I use it to browse but tend to avoid reading the comments because in the past few years, no matter the subreddit, they've become just another platform for childish, hateful americanised political discourse
