Hi all,
Selling my 29er Hello Dave frame and fork as I just got a Full suspension.
Let me just start with sizing. I'm just under 6ft and I chose the XL. These are long bikes but the wheelbase makes them crazy stable. This bikes has been everywhere and done all types of trails.
One of the best bikes I have owned and loved the most and also put the most amount of miles on.
I bought it the day they were released as I knew I had to have one. These were the old Sick bikes stock that a Taiwanese supplier made and didn't get paid for. Just for reference I had a Marino and the welding and quality is way better on this.
Overall condition is pretty good but I have looked after it really well. I treated the inside of the tubes with boiled linseed oil before I started to use it through winters. It comes with a Nukeproof seatclamp and purple Superstar headset.
Forks are 150mm RS35 with custom closed cell foam token as I like a lot of ramp on the forks. Also for the money these are a great fork.
Looking for £350 based in Stourbridge, West Midlands can post for additional.

You will get a cheaper one than that it you keep looking. Think £400 to £450.
I'm 5ft 11 and large was ideal. Reach was pretty short with the shorter stem I put on. Loads of standover as well.
How about that Trek in the classifieds as well. I see you what you mean about reach on that but with a shorter stem and the saddle forwards you could lose the 4cm difference.

Everyone I have had has been great, they have all been pretty cheap second hand bikes but in good condition. Always great spec. I had the early red silver cx bike, I had the pro Hardtail (I will probably get another to destroy over winter) had an early 26inch team with the U-turn recons and the early 27.5 full suspension. I did crack the rear triangle on the full suspension though but a mate sorted me out a replacement.

Does the Ghibli have studs? They could have just packed the rear with 2mm washers to confirm fitment. Seen loads of people do this. Also if you do end up getting hubcentric spacers, it would be way easier and cheaper to have the inner bore turned to your desired size, rather than having your expensive wheels opened up.

Yeah, shows how good a basic bike can be doesn't it. You getting Maxton suspension for yours now? I race with a few guys who run Maxton forks and shocks and honestly their suspension has cost more than my complete bike.
Would have liked to have seen more YZF content as that was my fave from the lineup.
