Another frame that's been in my garage for too long. XL size Merlin Malt frame in a nice brushed alu.
Plenty of usage marks on the frame but it's free innit.
Collect only from Epsom

In terms of which cam to buy I would recommend a GoPro Session if you can get hold of one. I think you can only get them 2nd hand nowadays but there are plenty out there on offer. My Session 4 was £150 new in 2015. There was a GoPro Session 5 too.
The reason is size and simplicity. A nice small, unobtrusive black cube which sits on your bike, front or rear (or chest mount) with one button which is on/off. Simple to use.
There are plenty of people who bought them intending to use them for rad edits but who just keep them in a drawer unused and you can always pick up good quality cams at decent prices.
In terms of mount I too use similar to @Pifko with Garmin on top and GoPro beneath. The Garmin further helps disguise the fact you are running a cam.
I also have a saddle rail mount for rear facing action and a chesty cam for #POV action.
Here's a couple of edited videos showing you the quality of footage. Obvs, the one where it's dark and raining is not as good as the summer but that will be the same whichever you choose.

Talking of funerals, the guy who invented the USB died last week.
They put him in his coffin, then took him out and turned him over, then took him out again and put him in the same way as they did first time.
Must have been a week for it as the guy who devised predictive text also died. His funfair is next Monkey.

yeah i would normally service stuff like this myself but i just don't have the time at the moment.
I've kept the Shimano freewheel though and as I expect to have plenty of spare time over the rest of this year I will replace the bearings/repack with grease.
This is the best video I found for Shimano single speed freewheel disassembly
and maintenance (although the guys voice tends to grate).Looks straightforward.

In other news yesterday was my first day on the bike for 8 days. My lower back went into spasm Thursday 23rd. This happens about every 18 months for me from a combination of too much cycling and/or gardening but this was the first time it's happened from sitting in my home office all day.
Still it was sufficiently recovered plus my legs were itching to get back on the bike for a mild, dry Friday morning in January.
Had a little bit of SCR on the false flat up to Westferry Circus in Canary Wharf and thought I would share it with you via the medium of moving pictures.
I thought I had positioned myself perfectly for the sprint finish but ultimately left myself too much to do to catch red bootie/pink backpack/squeaky mudguard guy or (whispers) perhaps he was just faster than me #sillycommuterracing
