Only other thing to say is that with these frames I have found that those riser stems and high rise bars are necessary for the comfy feel and for bunny hopssss. with the quill adapter you may lose a lot of rise and comfort... it's a personal thing though of course, but these are comfy and v cheap:

Sweet - following this. +1 for avid v brakes. I don't think you'll need to do any frame spacing, imagine this is 135mm already which means you can go to up to 10 speed maybe even 11? I've got a worn 8 speed chain and cassette you can have for free when you collect the quill adapter if you want, just to get it rolling.
I might be wrong, but this looks like a 1 1/8th steerer? My 950 from the same year is 1 1/8th.
They have the same underlying white paint and black splatter, just the decals are different.

This isn't getting used anymore and I want to preempt needing rid of it when I move house before too long. It's homemade by a pal out of pallets. It's a bit dodgy but I've used it to bring a table from shoreditch to Hackney Downs, among other things. It comes with a tarp so you can keep it outside. It ties to your seat tube with an old inner tube which bizarrely works very well. I've not got any decent photos of it but hopefully this gives you an idea at least.

Changed my colour scheme. Collection E8 or can post.
- Raceface Red/orange 175mm cranks, 110bcd. Perfect for a 1x conversion as plenty narrow wide chainrings available in 110. One self extracting bolt - I don’t have a pin spanner to take it out sorry. Plenty chips etc but all threads and tapers are good. £45 sold
- Bent and scratched retro XTR m950 v brake levers. RH lever is quite bent but I was using them fine until recently. Sorry but they’re missing the clamp bolts, but they’re easily replaced with something else. Good for that high end beater on the down low. £15 sold
- Red DMR deathgrips. Couple of marks but basically no wear. £12 sold

I don’t have a bike that suits this colour way any more so moving this on @ £50 collected from E8. Can post if needed at cost.
It’s one of the older styles that has the metal supports. If you use the saddle bag strap holes this design is far less likely to snap on you (as it has for my pals with the newer plastic ones).

If anyone like me remembers this bike, and lusted after those sick rigid fatty forks then now's your chance... I bought a pair myself on a bit of a whim and alas at 186mm the steerer is 4mm too short (but plenty long for most bikes). I'm already running a low stack BMX stem so I can't get away with any less steerer. Anyone here keen at £90 (which is what I paid for them) before I list them properly?

All very good questions thanks.
It's 700c.
They dropouts have holes for those little screws, but there aren't any in there.
That mark is the most significant paint chip. The frame has very few braze ons and needs the clip on type. I have run it fixed so it looks very clean because of that. So I guess a past clip on gear shifter made that mark in the paint. The paint has been touched up a little in that area.
Now stripped and ready to go.
