Taken the fork off and inspected all the threads on both the headset and the fork. Everything seems fine to be honest? Maybe a little dirty I suppose but it all looks in good condition.
Only thing is noticed is the top nut (not sure the actual name for it - the upper most nut where the branding usual is, in the case 'Record Campagnolo') is not completely threaded on the steerer as I have a single spacer underneath. This is like 2 threads at most so I can't imagine its causing any issue but it is something I noticed.
I might swap out the headset for something else just to try something, as I have no other ideas really.

1" threaded headset is constantly coming loose. No matter how its tightened up it eventually, within say a couple of days of riding, comes loose again. What's the solution here other than question why you bought a bike with a threaded headset in the 21st century?

30c! The clearence isn't quite as bad as it looks. I'm only using it for once cx race and then just road riding/commuting/epping/whatever so really shouldn't be an issue.

Yeah word on the street is under 40s will be allowed to book by next week. If so this makes the situation post christmas and new years a lot less scary! That is if this can be rolled out with some speed.

If people (under 40) are trying to their booster shot, I've found /r/getjabbed to be a really good resource. There are a number of sites around London taking walk ins for anyone 18+, most notably St Thomas' Hospital. I tried there yesterday but got there just at the evening cutoff, it is also the busiest of any of these centers but apparently a pretty sure bet if you want it today!

Ah okay that makes sense. So with modern chainrings on the cranks, the distance between the front and rear chainring with be the same (or similar enough) to work with a modern derailleur? and chainline should be fine and all that kind of stuff? Thanks for the help by the way.

Is it possible to use, for example, DA 7400 road cranks with a modern Shimano 11sp front and rear derailleur? I have absolutely no clue about anything with gears so hopefully that's not a stupid question.
